LEARN about shark biology, ecology and their global importance
UNDERSTAND their individual behaviours, needs and roles in the ocean
SHARE our passion and knowledge to help protect sharks

Some once abundant species are now endangered and some once endangered species now face the threat of extinction. Global shark populations have suffered immensely due to overexploitation. From nets, long lines, overfishing, shark finning and other threats!

Their misunderstanding and deceiving media reputation has caused huge damage to their survival. Sharks have been alive for over 400 million years, barely unchanged by evolution. Through lack of care and respect, some species now face increasingly critical levels.

By providing educational programmes, such as lessons in schools and teaching the public about sharks, the next generation can learn what needs to be done and how to do it. Also, by providing direct assistance to sharks, through out-at-sea projects, awareness and research, collaborating with other organisations, we gain stronger support for all species of shark and contribute to the balance, protection and conservation of shark life!
